Beginning to see why some folks would rather do their own butchering and raise their own meat?.................Joe

U say you have a 80 X 100 lot. You can raise a hog to butcher in a 20ft a side area. You can also raise chickens with a yard that size. NOW, If you could cut off one end of your 80 20ft, making it 60, and you built a 20a side hog lot with an opening for chickens, a 20ft square a side yard for your chickens, a 10 X 20 chicken house, and put in 6 rabbit hutches on the far side from the chicken house with a aisle way in the middle with 2 rows back to back of 6 cages each, and another 6 cages against the back wall of the chicken house, the roof sloped towards the front, You've got areas enough on a 20 X 80 to raise one or 2 hogs/pigs, a couple doz roosters, or a doz and a doz hens, and 2 doz rabbits. That still gives you plenty of land I wager for a garden.
