They make excellent baby sitters, just cut a couple holes in the bottom for the legs, hang them up on any wall, or tree high enough to keep feet off the ground.

Our mill stopped taking returns as well.
We use the 100 pounders for putting chopped corn in before we put it in garbage bags for silage. Keeps the stem pieces from poking through the plastic.
The pretty 50 pound sacks the kid turns into tote bags.

Wait i know! Do like the previous owner at my place did and wedge in between the boards on the stalls. That way if someone want to clean up your mess the will nave to rip the boards off the stalls then nail them back on!!! (Good place for your beer cans also)

All we every get is paper ones these days. If I don't need themfor something else I cut them open and lay them down on the barn floor beneath where the hens have started roosting in the rafters. Then it's easier to clean up the mess the hens have dropped- toss the bags onto the compost in the rain, when they are soaked and cleaner they go into the garden.

I'm feeling a little bit jealous of all of these plastic feed bag uses!

our mill will not take them back anymore. said it was mostly due to the pig feeds that really shouldnt goto other animals.

we use them for garbage (twine),
storing things from the rafters (lights) cuz you can write on the bag,
during ricing season, rice is hauled to where ever then stored cuz i usually end up with lots,
targets for bow practice,
cover the stand that holds the killing cones on butcher day,
hauling feathers home (after they come out of the plucker),
hauling shavings to the State Fair (as they dont provide enough)

is that ideas?
