Well I do like them I have enough pet Squirrels around the house that I feed all the time.So don't worry about me going out in the woods to kill a few extra for supper.

Feel free to hunt em where I live,we have a bazillion of em,you could never hurt our population.Though I do seem to remember somethin' about buffalos.

mountainman this is a Homesteading Forum.People braging about providing for their family from the land and doing things on their own.

I will agree that not all eat meat, but on this Forum they need to look over it because most people get protein from meat.I will go as far as to say I don't Harvest Animals or Fish for my meat.I kill them,I harvest from my Garden,Orchard, and Wild Plants in the Woods.

I no longer raise Animals on my place,I try working with the land, letting it provide for me.I put out Food Plots,Plant Trees, put out Feeders for my Wild Pets and Game. And I enjoy them very much.

Yes I kill some to provide meat for me and my wife. And to tell the truth I enjoy it so much more than I did putting a bullet in a Goat,Pig,or Calf,or cutting off the head of a Chicken or Duck.

Brag maybe so,but I see a lot of other bragging on killing Hogs,Chickens,Goats and other Animals.I think as long as the other people continue to Brag so shall I.I consider it part of the Homestead Life.

In the Kaibab Forest near the Grand Canyon is one called the Kaibab squirrel. It has a white tail. Pretty neat.
