You are forgetting #3. They just didn't have a place to go that was strong enough to withstand the winds.

I heard someone say that lots of people took the warnings casually as they thought it couldn't happen again, OR they wernt in Moore when the first one came through, and thought it couldn't happen to them at all.

I imagine that underground separate cellers on all 4 sides of schools there if possible will be built now.
From what I saw I think the storm this time was in another area of Moore. I have not been up that way to look. The news shots appeared to be east of the previous storm. So most of the homes were older say in the neighbor hood of 30 years. Have I been having fun or what. Can't believe it has been that long ago. Most of Moore is new build bedroom type of homes. Hard to tell the age of a brick speculation type homes. They are built on nice streets side by side as has been the custom for years and years. Most all are brick.

FOX also reported that the kids did not drown in a basement-no basement in the school. The hallway were they were routed, after being in the gym?, collapsed on them.
It was so difficult to watch the news...prayers for all. The only comfort is in the lives saved.

Hearing so many different reports. It is just horrible no matter how these children died.
