It sounds like you do a really good job of using the space you've got. Do you have space for more small fruits and nuts? I've got extra thornless blackberries if you want some.

I've got a small flock of urban sheep for wool, mowing, and meat, as well as laying hens, a vegetable garden and a small fruits garden. We also raise a batch of meat birds for the freezer every summer. I used to have heritage breed turkeys, too, but got in trouble with animal control when one flew off to a nearby church and scared people.

Have you visited the folks at Fruit Loop Acres near Woodruff Place? I think they're having an open house soon.

We hope to plant fruit and nut trees next year. The expansion of the garden, getting goats, and new bees were enough projects for this year, lol.

I have not seen Fruit Loop Acres but am familiar with them. We live just about 5-10 minutes east of Woodruff place and can easily go check them out. Where are you located? We are in Irvington/Warren Park.

I'm west of the river, not far from the Speedway. Lots of auto parts stores in my neighborhood.

We should get together for coffee or something sometime! I would love to met you! I don't have to work to tomorrow.

I have Nanking bush cherry seedlings too, if you want some. They're very small and tart but make tasty pie/jam.
