I think you should keep the guns if you like them, and you obviously do, but you should really educate your heirs on how to dispose of them if it's not something they are going to know how to do. The legalities of selling them, but more, to make sure they realize the value of them. It's one of those things that if they don't know what they are worth, they might just figure it's too difficult to deal with them and they will let them go cheaply to people just to have done with it.
If you really think it's going to be a problem for them, you could certainly thin your collection down to your favorites just to keep it easier.
