ooops...15 miles north of Indiana would place you squarely in Lake Michigan. Oh my!

Hi BKB...We just moved back to Indiana after an absence of 18 years. During our time away we lived for six years in Ohio and 12 years in Illinois. We chose to return to Indiana for retirement.

We bought a small place in Hendricks County. A few acres with the West Branch of White Lick Creek running through it. We have a bit of work to do but the home is lovely and the property is idyllic. We think we made the right choice.

Cheers!

Well, I have lived nearly all my life in Indiana. Born a Hoosier, in Franklin County, and lived there for the first 26 years of my life except for a year in the USAF. . Then I moved with my Family to Indianapolis/Marion County. And I lived in Indy for 37 years.

When I Retired 11 years ago, we moved to Sweet Owen County, in the Southwestern part of the State. We have a nice little Place, 13 acres, out here in the beautiful wooded hills .It's a great place to be.

I love that Old Song that they sing each year at the Indianapolis 500....

"Back Home Again, in Indiana!"

I think the actor, Jim Neighbors sings it every year. It brings tears to my eyes, every time I hear it.
I was born over in Franklin County, IN. And I lived there many years.
And I lived up in Indianapolis, for 37 years, too.

Right now we are over in SW Indiana.

Everyone does know that the most of the first page of postings was from 2013, so an old thread. Just to let you know you may understand if some don't get answers.
