Perfectly legal for a livestock owner to kill wild animals killing his livestock.

Dave, don't feel too bad about the little bit 'o blood. Over 60 years ago, I gave myself a crescent-shaped scar on the forehead the first time I tried to focus an '06 with a scope. I took some ribbing over that but I never did it again! LOL. You'll be all right soon.

If you have a depredation permit.

I don't need one here. I can't keep or sell the hide without a trappers lic. and in season, but I can take care of the predator, unless, of course it is Fed. protected.
