what's the average age for homesteaders?

I feel young, I'm 30, my wife is 29. I grew up on a farm, but moved to town for work after college. We saved and bought our own plot of land last fall.

My husband is 23 and I am 24. We just bought 3 acres (We sign the final papers on 5-9, so we are not even moved in yet). I have always wanted to have a large property, but right now I think 3 acres is a good size for us. We are both in school and have full time jobs, I also have a second part time job. Maybe after a while we can start buying up the land around us. We are constantly inspired by my mother and father in-law and their homestead in the making.
