Nice pics Joe - and dogs

A lot of the smaller stuff would be hauled to the paper mill here for pulp -

You have some serious equiptment there - how big is your place?

It is about a 50 acre chunk that we are in here, Yes the smaller stuff is going for pulp or firewood, Only took it out since we are just clearing out the blow down at this time, which was a lot more then we thought, working out good though getting it cleaned out plus making money. No sense letting the money rot into the ground.

Trying to get done, The weather has warmed up and the ground is getting soft. Trying to get all of the stuff that is down out. Quite a few loads have already been taken out, Need to pull out a few more, then it is off to market.

And I have had a Picker truck and two 18 Wheel Rig loads pulled out of here on top of what you see in the pic's. Yes equipment goes a long way in making a project easier.

What were you pulling the wood out with?

On top of all of this that you see there is also a lot of time spent in the woods cutting up the slash piles and keeping the woods somewhat neat also, I am trying to clean the woods up, it doesn't make sense for me to go in there and leave a mess, all of the tops get cut up and the branches also. I then either spread it out or make a pile depends where in the woods I am.

Some of the places on my property I would not be able to drag anything out with a tractor, there are some rough places that even with a skidder can be a touch nerve racking.

I bet, you look pretty hilly.. we're pretty flat and the property has lots of logging roads which helps a LOT
