They quit their deal with Cub Cadet this year....now it's just Yanmar, though they are still yellow/black paint.

thank you for all replies...

our tractor, just sold this morning, was a 360dct Farmtrac....great little tractor...but for us, the tractor part could do way more than the frame/loader will handle...it has been reinforced, but we have also been told to get heavier duty equipment...

that being said, we have looked at the 50 hp Kioti as well as the 55....which is a bigger tractor all the way around....also the 4530 Mahindra, a very sturdy heavy utility tractor...I think it would hold up well, but doesn't have the hp that the others do....we will not get anything that is not 4WD.....too many hills and places to get mired up....we are still clearing the back 10 acres and we need a versatile machine...I suppose that a definition of a tractor would be versatile machine..

the ideal would be a not too old, well maintained used one....I have a great super man who works on all tractors so that would not a problem if the used tractor was not under warranty...however, I do not want to purchase someone else's problems...or a tractor that has been used up...

the closest dealer to us, is the Mahindra dealer...has the 4530 that we have looked at...

next closest is the Kioti dealer, who has the 50 hp as well as the 55 hp.....and a 45 hp one as well..

the Massey dealer is not too far, but I always have the feeling that they could close their doors at any time...due to low business...

we haul round bales, though we are working toward not needing hay at all....in time we will not move hay or buy hay...that's another thread...

we will use the bushhog and a drag harrow....and could maybe use a fertilizer/seed spreader...for seed...the cows provide the fertilizer....we have about 30+ or so acres in pasture....and we will need to relocate dirt and move a lot of debris that will result as we clear the back area....

so that is where we are...for the moment we will be rolling the round bales around...and using up the small squares...but soon we will need to make a purchase...

would love to buy grandpa's new tractor that he never really got to use...??just haven't found the grandpa yet....

And as you probably know Yanmar makes a lot of the engines for Deere too.
