Right now, it's 63 on my back porch...certainly warmer than what it "should" be.

The coldest temp I've been exposed to (actual temp, not wind chill) is -13 IIRC and that was the year DH and I married, 1982. I remember it because the old Fieldcrest Mill had a huge time/temp on a walkway spanning the river bridge and it was the only time I ever saw it flashing.

It was a frigid 54 degrees here this morning. But it finally warmed up to a chilly 80.

I had to turn the heat off under some plants in the green house.

20 degrees here in Palmer AK. Just last month it got down to 30 degrees below zero though. Yeah, that was not a fun morning taking my son to the bus stop.

TOO COLD FOR MY LIKING!

Seriously, today the high in north easter MO was 21. They are predicting 15 as the low tonight and 38 tomorrow but then it's going to get squirrelly with freezing rain by Sunday and Thunderstorms by Monday night. Last week was miserable with lows between 0 and 10 and gusty winds. This is more like winter than what we have had the last few years and I keep telling myself that the cold means less bugs come spring. I can live with that compromise.

71 today and projected in the 70's for the next week.

My tomato plants are at least 2' tall and blooming already.
Garden season with the exception of okra will be over from late June to late Sept. too hot for anything, so we plant when we can.

No severe cold here and thankful for that. We have an advisory for light snow and ice accumulation up to one inch with a temp of 23. All should be gone by 2 this afternoon. Ky is the best state for good weather year round.

It's beautiful here today, the sun is shining brightly and there isn't any wind. It has also warmed up quite a bit since yesterday (and the day before that...and the day before that and the day before...etc) those days we had a -39 windchill.

But today!!! Wow today is gorgeous. I didn't need the parka to do chores and didn't need the lap blanket to do my bus run! My son snuck on to the bus without his jacket however, he didn't complain, he had hot chocolate. It was only -21.
