I think its Interesting to see what every ones eating.
I'm a bit of a "Foodie".
like you it gives me Ideas.

I made Corned beef Hash (not the canned carp, and I like my taters brown) and Easy over Eggs (I know its Over easy, but with me I don't like broken yolks so its Easy over.) toast for the GF for her Dinner last night, I just snacked a little.
I had planned on heating up the rest for breakfast and did not get to it. So that's my Lunch today.

I'm always looking for the food threads here on the forums. I like reading about what others are eating. We don't have a lot of variety in our meals but I'm grateful we have food to eat.

Lunch today was actually a late breakfast of a fried egg with sliced tomato. Supper is going to be a beef roast with carrots, potatoes, and beef gravy. Tomorrow is going to be barbeque baby back ribs, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and baked beans. It's just the two of us so we'll probably eat that same meal the rest of the weekend or until it's gone.

Me too! Food blogs are my weakness. I'd be embarrassed to tell how many reams of paper I've used printing recipes from the 'net.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I had sausage gravy on a whole grain toast w/red grapefruit sections again today. I almost never eat a regular breakfast so this is more like "brunch."

Oh Farmer Dave, I would take your breakfast in a heart beat. That is one precious puppy. My doxie is a pie bald one and is black and white spotted with tiny brown and white legs.
I love these "meal" discussions. Like Texsteader, I have tons of recipes that I have copied off the computer. I get a lot of mine from Nancyland.com She is in Texas and has a newsletter full of recipes each day but Thurs. I try out lots on my dh and son. We had ham hocks and sour kraut, mashed potatoes and hominy today for lunch. Love the ideas you all have for yours. Keep up the interresting ideas.

We had cranberry sauce with leftover roasted, home-raised chicken YUM, with a leftover bean recipe I tried from the back of the jar - had bacon and apples and cloves in it. Surprisingly good. Also cooked up some raw carrots that weren't getting eaten. I didn't need to eat supper tonight because lunch was so large and so late. Love it when two meals do the trick

General Tso's Chicken and I am not ashamed to admit that it is not homemade. It was worth every penny.

Made Spinach Quiche for Dinner last Night,Recipe Called for 8 eggs I added 5 more and about extra milk, twice the Bacon, a can of Mushrooms a 2 small onions and Extra cheese.
Pastry recipe said it made 2 shells but I managed 3.
I only made the one last night and put the dough and mix in the fridge, already demolished the second one and waiting on number three to come out as I type.
I love Quiche.
