I finally quit fooling myself about saving money and buy made in the USA heavy duty hoses with the heavy duty brass fittings. No kinks, no leaks and they last I couldnt say how much longer than just the next grade down.
When I had to replace fittings, I used the heavy duty brass replacements . I took them off the lesser hoses as they went belly up to have on hand.
