Read the article in the link. It's not a "trivet" in the common sense of the word, more a commemorative piece.

A lot of fun trying to find out the intent of things from the past. Love the old things and am always looking and I enjoy sharing with the good people here. You seem to enjoy and guessing also. I am sure, "good lord willing and the creek don't rise". I will find something else to post. Cabin, thanks and I did find the switch back. Appreciate the help.

This is not what you have. Yours is a much more beautiful piece. But they both have a prop on the back, both have a caulk to set the postcard on.
