Welcome from Ohio, Clancy. Watch out for the ones that want you to raise goats.

Howdy from Oklahoma. Lots of good folks around but watch that dude in the back of the room with the salt/pepper beard. He tends to like sardines and the smell can get intense when the doors/windows are closed.

Hi from north central Alabama! I have chickens, goats, ducks, and Angora rabbits....trying to get back to a more self-sufficiant simplier way of life...have a small general store here on the farm to sell farm fresh eggs from happy chickens, goat milk soap, and other goodies....stay busy....enjoying life!

Welcome aboard Clancy from us here in Tennessee. Are you far from Cape Disappointment? I went to a Coast Guard school there. It rained the whole time I was there, except the day I arrived and the day I left. I'll tell you two things stuck in my mind about Oregon. There was a home cut into a very large tree and the surf is the biggest I have ever seen. Tell me if this is true, but it has been spread around these parts that in Oregon goats are not listed as farm livestock. They are considered pets and you can have them in any neighborhood that you would have anyother pet? If true, I like that! I'm told the exact wording of what goats are is "Champainion Animals".
