Oh while I'm thinking of it.Another friend of mine bought a .357 to have under the counter in case he got robbed.Well guy walks in with a 12GA. Robbed him.I asked him why he didn't pull his Pistol? At the time I was so scared I didn't even think of it.

You better be one heck of a shot with that pellet gun .Most all pros are taught to aim for center mass to easy to miss otherwise .Some are taught three tap not two . Lots of law enforcement use 40 cal with hollow points for a reason .
Stupid can get you killed . That is what a guy told me after i flipped a 225 Timberjack on a hill side i knew better than to be on

That was a fun story Farm Boy Bill. You have more imagination that a teenage boy in a strip club/.
Whie you are counting (things) at night while you are trying to go to sleep, see if you can conjure up a little G rated story that will put all our minds into missbelief. You can do it. Sure you can..

I'll be darned, Crosman does make a 10-shot CO2 revolver. If someone were pointing it at me, I don't think that I'd laughing at it. Doesn't have the fps of either of my air rifles but would make a hole at close range with a hunting pellet.

Dadgumit, Bill, I've been worried you would get booted from the site, and should have been worried about you getting booted from the earth.

I took off and got it in the cheeks on the tail bone.. It was a starter pistol drilled out and shooting 22 shorts.
If I put a pellet from a gas powered Crosman 9 shot revolver into somebodies head, Id think that would hurt his thinking. I rather get the idea that you have not been shot by the pistol im talking about. I havnt either. Like it sounds to me, you might know something of being shot with a pellet or BB outa hand cocked, no gas BB pistol. I have, As was said, It stings, AND if I had to face a doz or so of even those, you could have it. Id pass, no matter what kind of gun I held..
A BB pistol you have to manually cock for each shot.. A Gas operated pistol has alot more power, and goes as fast as you can pull the trigger. With 2 guns at 9 ea, IF it had power to hurt bad, I wouldnt worry about not killing or wounding them too much.
Heck, I wouldnt try to take on somebody with a paint ball gun, if he got the first shot in and it hit me in the chest at 20ft, Ive been hit at 50ft, and that was all I wanted, and I had a gun also. No protection. I got circled and got hit 3 times before the 3 realized another had got me. That was the first and last time I played paint ball. Still got the gun, but its too big to try to hide,

Ahhhhh, Farmboybill, you got some real good advice on your original post. Obviously, you don't think much of it. So have a family member let us know how it works out for you when you try a gun fight with a BB gun. Good Luck with it though!

Yup 10 and 8 shot I'm just familiar with a 9 shot.
I still advise against thinking any air gun is a suitable defence arm but if cornered I would want one of these.

I think I'd avoid the situation that you described. Get your cash during the day and inside the bank. Keep enough on hand in your home or in your wallet to keep from having to get cash at an ATM at 1:00 am. While you're at it, fill up your gas tank during daylight hours and never let it drop below a half a tank. This means that you'll be safe at home when someone decides to pull a hold up and you can read about it in the newspaper the next day.

I wasn't disputing or defending the number of shots, just had never seen a CO2 revolver. All other air pistols that I've seen looked just like an air pistol, not something that means business.

Often the case even without the drugs. In my paramedic days in Detroit I once saw a guy with five .40 caliber holes in his chest fight with three cops for at least two minutes before they got him subdued. I hung around the hospital to find out what he was on because I was curious what made him super-human...blood tests came up negative for any drugs. Just adrenaline and anger. Even crazier things can happen when they're on angel dust.

Suicide attempt with a bb gun. My SIL was the ER nurse. He tryed 6 times before one entered his head. Underneath the flesh and stuck under his scalp. Would I shoot some one with one to try and stop them if they are armed. NO.

ive pretty much got an answer.
To be REALLY truthful, Id likely do just what was stated, Stay in the back and keep my own space clear. IF I was still brave and bold, I would /might to up to the edge of the aisle to see what was going on. I MIGHT wait till they had got the money and had turned to leave and then give a couple back shots. while they were at the door. Likely not, not knowing the potency against meat.
I had a friend once, who told he left his wife out to walk to a CC machine/ Some of another ethnicity walked up behind her. He said he had a 25 in the car and didnt get out if he had to use it, I said, at that distance, heda likely had better accurecy and pain effect if he had thrown it at them

BUTT CR, If I get caught by the cops with REAL guns, such as they were, to them, there still REAL GUNS., and I dont have a permit.
I think id be less eager to get involved with them. Sometimes they dont fire. Sometimes they fire too much

I have a Daisy version they do not make any more. Interchangeable 6,4 and 2 inch barrels and six shot speed change cylinders. C02 powered pretty much all metal but the grips. Nice gun for what it is. Beats the Crosman hands down.

Thats why movies selcom use them. They were too erratic and ruined too many scenes. Dont know how they seemed to get over that as theyve used them alot since Clint Started useing them in the spagattee westerns.
