There is a pile of them in the back seat of my car. They will go along with me to the feed store today and be turned in when I get a new load of feed, in burlap bags. I had a load of bags in the car one day when I went through the bank. I heard the clerk say "been a long time since I saw any of those" and had to think about what she was refering to.

Jo Anns fabrics probably has a web site if there is not a store near you. The feed store charges a dollar for one and buys em back for a dollar if you return it. I could probably get you some. A buck plus shipping each.

At my feedstore, they carry burlap.

Straight grain is held in big hoppers. When you ask for a tonne of barley, oats, corn, whatever, they go and bag it. If I ask for burlap they charge me an extra 25cents per bag.

I prefer my grain to be in burlap.

Go to a fabric store and buy it by the yard. Already nice and clean. Not expensive.

Hobby Lobby has burlap by the yard.Probably any fabric shop could get it for you and upholstery shops usually have some.

I've seen burlap by the yard at WalMart too. Not sure how much they sell it for, but it's probably pretty cheap compared to some of the other big name fabric stores.
