Does it hurt? Does it itch? Is it raised, flat, flaky, smooth, bumpy? More info, please! If it's an allergy, bed bug, or yeast infection, antibiotics aren't going to touch it.

If not it could be pityriasis rosea. If so there will be one spot bigger than the rest. Like a 2+ inch oblong called a herald patch.

If you could get a picture of it I might b able o ID what it is.

I was going to say this. I had PR and it is not pretty at all!! But it goes away in 6-12 weeks (I took a full 12 weeks) without leaving a mark.

I would agree to go to a dermatologist. The dermatologist can take a skin biospy to determine the exact cause. They can also prescribe whatever is needed to help clear it.

Since it itchs I would recommend an oatmeal bath and calamine lotion.

I wouldn't take the antibiotics since it doesn't sound bacterial.

I agree it could be Bed bugs, allergic reaction, exzema, a viral rash, or a number of other things.

Truth is, no one here has a clue. Have him go to a dermatologist. We can give you a long list of what it might be but might isn't good enough. By the time he tried all the homemade remedies and diet adjustments we would recommend, the rash might be gone or he might be dead.
