I bought a Kitchen Queen last year. It replaced an antique wood cookstove with a tiny little firebox. The KQ absolutely will keep a fire overnight and will heat a large home (2000 ft2 m/l). I rarely used my Lopi woodburner last winter. Love the stainless steel cooktop, it's easy to keep clean and has very even heating. I bought the hot water coil, but haven't hooked it up yet. It's a little pricey, but I'd consider that stove one of the smartest purchases I've ever made.

I've been researching these for the last few days (LOVE that blog posted!) and now I'm also looking into a masonry oven. I want to decided on this before we start designing the layout of the house.

My neighbor's mother allowed her kids to put in a electric stove in her kitchen, but ONLY on the condition her wood burner went to the back porch, where she used it for canning until she was something like 83. It wasn't unusual for her to be up at 4AM to can before the porch got too hot.
