I had a dark grey and blue pickup once, people were always pulling out in front of me, guess they couldn't see me coming. the dark blue truck i have doesn't have a functioning AC and it is one bugger to drive in the summer in Texas for sure. Never have bought a vehicle according to color, but don't want to buy another dark colored one.

mine is black. gets awful dirty when i go out to the country. just wait for a rain. bought it in 2010. only washed when i go in for check up. only cleaned it out a couple tines inside. i'm due for another soon. i'll probably give it a good clean out before that. i'll have too. there's stuff i've been missing for 2 years. ~Georgia.

2 miles of gravel here, we have dark green, maroon, white, gray, and red. In order of which "looks" cleanest on average: gray, white (I know, a surprise!), red, maroon, dark green. We had a dark blue van for awhile, it was the worst.

Agree. My Jeep is light brown, some call it golden brown. You could not see the tons of dirt on it when I lived on an unpaved road.
