Thanks for the pic!
not sure what you computer monitor is showing you, but my wife says that he wasn't disproportionately "long-legged". He seemed really rather mature, wide muzzled, broad-skulled, deep-bodied and well-filled-out from her dog-judging perspective and experience. She estimates him at around 150 pounds or more.

I know, they are not suppose to exist here in GA.

I have seen coyotes galore but one morning, I saw what appeared to be monster at the end of this view.

It weren't no deer

But it looked pretty nigh 10' long from nose to tail tip and no more than 3-4' tall.

Haven't seen anything like it since but ponder.

In 1974 there was an issue with a Canadian Timber wolf between us and Atlanta

They used to be here but were supposedly wiped out.

Then again, we are not supposed to have black bear issues ... yet calves get eaten, homes messed with and their is a season that runs from Sept 10 - Dec 4th with a limit of 2.

Really no telling what one might find in the country.

Cool pic indeed! Would be wary though .... looks like one of the few concerns in this world that might actually be able to eat ya!

He's huge! Glad he's in your back yard because if he was in mine he'd be way too close to the goats!

wolves have been spotted on our farm several times by different people. I'm so glad that we have all the animals fenced or in a barn.

I snowshoe all winter- and I am a SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW target - and in the back of my mind is the memory of these huge timberwolves taking down this full-grown moose just north of here.

Do you carry your thunder maker with you though??? Imagine all the predators have seen and heard you and your boomer, and know who's higher on the bad egg scale!

***shiver*** One of the few animals that can really scare the bejeebers out of me!! And I have always been this way about wolves - I hated even seeing them at the zoo - course it could be cause my mother's mother always told me the black one would eat my fingers off my hands.....Cougars also can bring on the same fear - I think it is the fact that they can sit back and watch you and be tracking you and you'll never see them coming.
