Extend the roof a little on one side of the barn, and just feed the cattle out of the side of the barn, under that overhang.

No need to handle the bales/ fodder 2x. Toss it down into the feeder and be done. Loader scrapes up the manure once a week and piled to be used on your 5 acre field.

Keep it simple, less steps, less handling.

Ill have to think on that one. Good idea, but #1 I dont have a loader. How would I get between the fodder and the feeder to fill it.
