Do you still 'have it'?

Yes sir. Haven't visited it in 20 years. A friend in Anchorage tried using it for a fly-in hunting base camp for a few years, but never saw anything bigger than a ptarmigan.

You looking for land up there?

I am going to answer your livestock question. I think the only animal I would be able to afford to raise in Alaska is Store Hedemora | Greenfire Farms and even then the price of mash might kill ya lol. I also dream about living in Alaska but I only want to be there end of May through September LOL

Respect and good luck!

Chris

I spent nine years in the Denali region, and you never can tell. I've visited with some sisters that live about a hundred miles? west of the park... and sometimes I'd get a wild hair thinking I might want to do something similar. I've flown over the muskeg country, and had forced slogs through it.... fixed camps for migratory game is always (imho) a losing proposition, unless living on the spot...

Out of curiosity were the sisters Mikki and Julie from Lake Minchumina? I know them well from my time around Denali, super cool ladies!
