Well in a few weeks our small town has 3 days of charcoaled chicken days.
It will be interesting just how these so called New Charcoal Briquets are holding up.
These huge grills on Friday will start about 2 PM, and never shut down till midnight. And both on Saturday and Sunday start at 9AM and never start cooking chicken till midnight on Saturday night and around 10 PM on Sunday night.
This is a very small town of just over 600 people.
But during those three days they will have served 10,000 Servings of Chicken~!!
People come from miles and miles around, some from even out of State from Minn. to our little town for what is called
The Eleva Broiler Festival.
Been going on for over 55 years.
Once even held a Chicken Flying Contest. LOL
So being I grew up in the area, I know the pole cooking the chicken and I will find out IF they have problems with the charcoal.
Cause they go threw Pallets of bags of charcoal for those 3 days.
Constantly cooking chicken so those grills will use plenty of Charcoal.
