5th coat of paint on the OSB? That's the problem with it. The glue that holds the wood chips together is not waterproof. You have to keep it dry or it falls apart. I wonder if exterior grade plywood or T-111 wouldn't be cheaper in the long run?

I don't really know Don, it has been out there 36 years now.
The OSB was five bucks a sheet and I used eight of them.

5 coats of paint over 36 years and $5 per sheet. You're right. You can't beat that.
