If you have someone to help, you can drive slowly and just shovel it off the front while backing up. I've done this on acre at a time, only takes an afternoon. You can control depth of material etc easily.

OK! I did it yesterday and it worked pretty good. It spread a little less evenly than a manure spreader but not too bad. I'll go over it a few times with a rake when I get it all done ( ran out of manure ).
