Here are my babies. Pics are pretty bad in the dark garage. I named my Hummer Precious, the Viper's name is OMG as I usually scream "omg I'm gonna die" when she accelerates, the Jeep does the dirty work, and the little Ford showing in the foreground is the commuter car for gas mileage.

If I had to get another one it would probably be a fully restored Saab 900 Turbo. Had one years ago and loved it.

Wow, great Willys Wagon to start it off!

My first toy would be a 1969 Bronco (though that 71 would be an acceptable alternative)! My second toy would be a 1970 Chevelle SS.

I'd LOVE an M37, except that the fuel economy is not a strong point (6mpg)!

But, in the very near term, once my Jeep Cherokee is retired, I want a good solid mid-sized 4x4 pickup. Would prefer a Tacoma, but for the $, I'm thinking I'll probably end up with something else.

I love old Willys Jeeps
Currently my back door yard has a 1947 CJ2A, a 1960 Willys truck, and a 1965 CJ5 plow Jeep. I really like the way look. Not too keen on the gas mileage and they are very very very quirky vehicles. I am spoiled with my 1999 S10 pickup and its reliablity. These old trucks I think were neat back in the day but there is nothing practical at all about them now. I need high MPG's and ease of getting replacement parts. Looks means nothing to me now.

I need to get from point A to point B every single day.(I work 2 jobs).
I would have posted pictures of my rusty junk but cant figure how to.

Thanks for this thread, I thought I was the only gear head on here.

Onsecond thought, I would like to have a replacement 1987 Honda 750 that I had as a teen. And an Amphicar. That would be the end of the list.

If money were not an object, I would have:

A 1970 Plymouth Superbird with the Hemi, and

A 1969 Dodge Daytona with the Hemi.

They would join my 71 Roadrunner and 51 F-2.

"My" truck (see the photos) will run off of ANYthing flammable... gas, diesel, jet fuel, avgas, motor oil, USED motor oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid... (of course, the natural gas condensate), and I've read over at steelsoldiers.com that some have even used butter. If it burns, it'll run.

Think about this... how many oil change places you know of? garages? All of them have to pay to get this used oil disposed of. A 55 gallon barrel of free oil (filter it later at home) would fill your tanks up.

...and this... if the shtf, there'll quickly be zero gasoline available... diesel would also disappear, but not as fast, as most large farms have large tanks of it on hand... most gas or diesel rigs are simply SOL, unless one's stored large quantities of it. Vehicles will be stranded everywhere... highways will be parking lots... yada yada yada. But you, tooling around in your Mili truck, have unlimited fuel sources... every vehicle on the road has at least a gallon of oil, some have four gallons. Each has brake fluid and transmission fluid. Might be a french mule draining oil and fluids out of hundreds of stranded vehicles, but you'd still be toolin' down the road.

Our current Heavy truck is a 1992 FORD F250 460CI (7.5L) 5 speed, 4X4. Love it drives great the more weight you put in it the smoother it rides. easy to work on. also have a Buick Century V6 that regularly hits 29~30 on the HWY. and a Toyota ECHO that always gets at least 35MPG.
All are paid off! That's the best part..

I'll definitely buy another Mercedes...looking at a white 2008 S430 this time. I would love to have a Ford Raptor and an Aston Martin (lottery win required, haha). Hubby wants another F350 diesel 4x4, can't blame him it was a really nice truck and handled farm chores like a dream.

I would have had to win the lottery to afford my dream car, a Jaguar XKE.

Dream ride is one that is PAID for. Gotta love not having a vehicle payment every month. Just got my dream ride 3 weeks ago. As long as it runs and goes in the direction I point it, that's a perfect vehicle to me. Of course if it ran on just my good looks that would be awesome too.
