I use my big stainless steel pan, rice bran oil, and homegrown popcorn. A little salt.

I can't do air popped I know its good for you but if I want to chew packing peanuts I will open a box. We have a spinner but the best popcorn ever was what my grampa made in a cast iron skillet in bacon grease. Not exactly a good diet snack though!
