The mini schnauzer would probably faint if confronted by a chicken. Believe it or not the mastiff would either ignore it or try to love on it...lol. Had to fight her over the bottle lamb last year. She kept insisting it was HER lamb! If I bring them with me I'll bring a portable kennel. I'd not ever put your animals in danger.

Would anyone have any interest in learning spinning? I teach spinning from time to time and wouldn't mind bringing the equipment with me.
Actually there is very little involving fiber and fabric that I don't teach. Everything from rug hooking to primitive finger weaving to double pointing needle knitting.

Dutchie I know practically right where you live. You, I think live up a hill from 48. On the W side. U used to have rabbits on the W and SW side of the house? Am I right.
I thought we might have some archery practice, if I buy a 1/2 doz arrows. I also thought about showing the buzz saw working. Ill surly have something up in the gardens by that time. Ive got all the over hundred rabbits, now 4 goats, 2 older and 2 born yesterdy, 16 chickens, a couple cats. A buncha tractorsd and antioque machinery.
Since most of what ive got is for males, I think anything on the distaff side brought to show would be a blessing. Thank you.

I'll do battle with it for you Dave...lol. Bring it and I'll teach you how to use it. However, as I tell all of my students, a spinning wheel is the wrong piece of equipment to learn how to spin with. That is what supported spindles are for. I'll make up some spindles and bring for folks.
Hmmm, I've not ever considered shooting a bow as I've always had guns. Novel idea. What's the pull on it?

thereabouts 50lb. Thats for 1 or 2 long bows, and 3 crossbows.
So do you guys have wives? No, I dont. Why, can you bring some of them too LOL.

I'm female and single.....lol, no wife. Hard to tell from my moniker that I'm female.
I should have my latest self sufficiency toy up and operational by then. I just ordered a huge fresnel lens. I need to get busy in the shop and make a frame for it. Maybe I will be able to demonstrate some solar cooking with it. I'm definitely bringing the van so I can bring more stuff with me. Anyone want me to bring a solar panel?
Mamaof3peas are you offering that your husband would like to teach survival skills or learn them? If he is wanting to learn them, list what he is wanting to learn....I can probably teach most of them. One of the only things I've never gotten into is the buckskin thing. LOL....if it comes to a survival situation and there are no clothes available I plan on becoming a nudist

Its funny how, When ive gone to get togethers, and people bring stuff to classes, they find that, on just one day, Sat, that by the time they sleep in, and get up, and laze about, and visit, and eat, cand cook, ect, then laze around in the afternoon, and sit out around the fire Sat night, That there isnt ALOT of time for alot of classes. I dont know whether people who have come intending to do classes just didnt cause they didnt feel like it, didnt feel there was an interest, or didnt feel like there was the time.
I dont know how many of you have gone to meet ups, and what your experiences were. The above were mine.
