Great coop.. Seems you have done your homework.
My experience with chickens has been good. Started in 2008 and I'm getting close to a degree. Even added a few guineas..
Four or five good layers will keep you in eggs year around. However you'll find most coops are just too limited in the space needs of chickens.
P.S. Like your blog. Maybe inspired me to start my own. Retirement is on the horizon and I plan to do more on my existing homestead, even though Im already working it full time.
