Then topic of this thread began with the factual report that raw milk was more likely to cause illness than pasteurized milk. That is a fact which has been known for over a century. Most of my posts on this thread have dealt with that that topic since I don't care one way or another if you don't want to take the time to obtain it either within or without the local regulations which govern it. The thread had stopped and everyone had had their say until the latest instance was reported. Any subsequent post on the subject of "freedom", "government", or "big ag" was nothing more than trolling or an excuse to be seen on this thread. What many don't realize is how damaging this instance is for their cause. We all have been made aware of why pasteurization is mandatory from history. Claims have been made here which say that it won't happen is raw milk sales are made legal either in their state or throughout the nation. Well, it's legal in Oregon and it did happen. For certain, no matter how few were affected, it's still a major blow for advocates of unrestricted and unregulated sale of unpasteurized milk.
