They've tried for years to establish crappie in our pond. Our bream reach good size for eating and we regularly catch big bass. Guess it does make a big difference where you're located. Lore around here says the crappie dam jump during spring runoff to get to the lakes downstream. I just know after years of seeding, there's only been one caught in the pond so they gave up and went with bass and bream again.
