Yeah you might be right. I guess I'll have to weight the effort against the prize. It's such a nice big tree, freshly fallen, and in good shape. I never see those where I could reach them!

wow what a great thing that logrite..

as for the horses, don't be afraid to ask, and let them say no if they need to, but some people love to give their horses a workout, esp if they are training them for pulling contests..

Start cutting fire wood where you can haul it away. When you get a road to the beech tree, you can cut on it. It may take you a winter or two to get the path cut, but all you wanted was wood to burn, and that would solve your problem.
