Oh yeah, I know how class action lawsuits work. In 99.9% of these cases the folks that have suffered damages, real or imagined, get a voucher for a loaf of bread or a candy bar and the damned lawyers get millions sometimes hundreds of millions in CASH!! I was an unwitting participant in a class action lawsuit against GM over the exploding gas tanks in Chevy pickups. I didn't file anything or ask for anything, but since I owned one of the trucks I was involved. When it was finally settled I, and everyone else involved, except the lawyers got a voucher for $500.00, but it was only redeemable towards the purchase of a new GM vehicle. So unless you had $15/20 thousand you were not using, or wanted to go in debt for a new vehicle you may not want, or be able to afford, it was worthless. Guess what the lawyers got? Yep, cash, buckets and barrels of cash, if memory serves me correctly something on the order of one hundred five million dollars. Why do you think these slimeballs are advertising every day on television trolling for more clients? If you have been injured, think you have been injured, know someone who may have been ijuured by....fill in the lawsuit dujour here...call the law offices of.........makes me want to puke. If you want to talk about greed here is where the real greed starts and ends.

Well, I stopped by yesterday to check on my neighbor and drop off some honey and a couple of books I thought he might enjoy. He was talking with his pastor so I only spoke with him briefly. He's back in for another operation today. (If they don't do it all at the same time is it still a quadruple bypass?).

He looked good but tired (Who wouldn't be). My thoughts are with him.

Mike,
You're a good neighbor, the world needs more people like you. It really does make you think how fragile your world can be.
I'm not familiar with any state that would protect your home ownership, what does Florida have?
