Nice! I asked Santa for a Mustang, or a Charger, or a Challenger, or a Camaro, but got some fruit trees instead. Local Santa figured I'd get into too much trouble with my lead foot. Enjoy!

Santa stopped visiting me.... that little incident with me sending Prancer to 'freezer camp' has had me on the naughty list for several years now!

Hope you enjoy your GT!

Did it come with a winch (actually typed 'wench', and realized that wasn't the kind of 'wench/winch' I was talking about... not that a wench might not be nice) on front, and a pto hookup on back?

Always thought it'd be nice to go fast enough to attract the highway patrol! My one ton tops out around 95, and only passed a HP once at that speed, and he didn't even bother with me!

Hey Fordy, can you tell me how old you are? I've been wanting a Corvette for as long as I can remember and it would help to know how much longer I have to wait

...................Actually , IF you can be satisfied with a base model , which has lots of options on it , you can buy the GT with the 5.0 V8 with 412 HP , 6 speed manual which gets 18 town, 26 highway for ~~$24,000 when the dealer and factory adjustments are figured in . That is before any fees or sales taxes . , fordy

Fordy, my almost-15-yo son is very jealous of you right now! Mustangs are his favorite car.

.....................Well , I must say after driving a 6 speed manual mated to a 412 Hp is more fun than I've had in a long time ! I don't mean I'm burning the rubber off the tires , because I'm very conservative and treat my vehicles with great respect . The shifting linkage and such is still a little tight but this car is a blast to own and drive .
......................Only time and milage will tell , How well , it has been put together , but I believe the build 'Quality' is excellent . , fordy

I bet it is fun to drive!!!

My sister has a '99 with a base V6, and it is fun...I can't imagine having a big V8 rated at 412 HP.

Congrats again!!!!

Hey fordy, Nice job. Excellent choice all the way around. Not only does it bring you back to the lusty days of being young and really wanted what you couldn't afford, and probably were better off without, you ended up with a great car. Enjoy

Remember, the rules of them internets..... If you don't post a pic. it didn't happen, LOL.

Yeah picture. And make sure you're in it so we can see just how close to "39" you REALLY are!
