PETA doesn't expect to win or even argue this lawsuit.

They have already won what they wanted.

People are talking about the suit, and the organization.

Oh, Wow! Don't you dare play the "poor little me" card. Peta is an extremist organization that supports terrorists. When you come to a forum made up of people possessing common sense, spew foolishness, and then don a persecution complex because everyone refuses to accept your drivel, expect to be called on it.

Raven if you do not like the common mentality here on HT then why visit? That is unless you are just here to disagree.

Well - they haven't stopped dog shows per se. But by sponsoring ever more restrictive legislation aimed at breeders (ALL breeders - show, hobby, commercial are all the same to PETA) they are squeezing out those who have supported the shows and the Breeds (and Breed Rescues) for their entire lives. Nowadays at the dog shows there are far fewer ordinary family exhibitors who have nice dogs, show them, enjoy a couple of days with like minded fanciers... and raise a nice litter now and then so they have another dog to show when Fluffy retires... The thin edge of the wedge is definitely in place

Apparently none of the pets supporters saw the videos of what happened to over 500 dogs at peta shelters.....or know that the VP is using a drug for her disease that was tested on animals first-Typical scum-do as I say,not as I do...

With out human intervention Most of the animals will be extent(SP) in a few years. All the dogs and cats would starve along with cattle and horses and goats. A lot of people think that all they need is grass to eat but if people stop growing grass for pasture and baling it into hay they will starve. Some people think that there are enough rabbits an such to feed any dog but there isn't. Deer would starve if people stopped hunting them and quit feeding them. But I guess they think that is fine.

So we should all think the same or leave? The handful of open-minded people I have met here and aren't of the "common mentality" are worth it.

Um, all of the people in this country that had constitutional rights that were killers are locked in a cage. Why wouldn't the same apply to killer whales? And, they are very entertaining to watch on the documentery shows like 'Lock Up' and 'Cops'.

Sorry, it's very hard to be serious about such a silly ploy.

No offense, Tinknal, but I really don't care to respond to your statements. You should just put me on your ignore list.

Then why do you?

Silly you. I put no one on the ignore list.

Don't come on and say things that offends the sensibilities of wise homesteaders and then put on an air of superiority. Wrong forum.

Whales would suck at making license plates. Sea World is a much better place for those killers to be caged.

Add to that the inhumane treatment of animals. At least they are bringing the topic to the forefront and not ignoring the rampant abuse going on in our country.

oh wow...I dont agree with peta at all. I think they by far are damaging more than they are helping. Tell my 4 kitties, my bird and my dog they would be better off without me and see what happens then. They would die...they are domesticated and can not live without human help. Peta is a joke...they need to crawl back under that rock the came from.
