Same here.

And I also live right next to the local medevac heliport. When one of those things land, it feels like the entire house is going to shake apart.

To be in the middle of nowhere I've seen some doozies here. Some I couldn't even begin to explain. I never seem to have a witness with me to verify and I've never owned a camera phone or any camera for that matter. So it ends up being you'd have to take me for my word and trust that I can see, or you'd think I was nuts and that would be that.

We do have a small airport about 2 miles NE of here and some of the oddities can be explained as small aircraft using that runway. We also used to be in the flight training path south of Ft Knox and other odd craft could be easily thought to be from there. We also were in the southern flight path from the Louisville airports but that changed when the main airport went to an international status and changed some of the flight paths.

I think some of the flying craft I've seen in the most recent sightings have been drones that are remotely controlled. I wouldn't begin to know who/what controlled these. I think some of the remote drones are equipped with cameras and whoever is operating these can see the landscape and people such as me waving and screaming at these odd lookers. They do tend to take a good look at my stupid self before moving on. I've seen several in the shape of silver balls that are silent and move multi-directionally very quickly; some have been more along the line of a minature blimp shape but metal and never cloth and these do a put-put sound that reminds me of a lawnmower engine.

It it's too small for a person passenger then I figure it's a remote controlled drone that is looking for pot growing operations. And it's fairly easy to think that the unmarked black helicopter hovering over the field next to us has the same reason for being there.

And there was a bright yellow bi-plane with double wings that flew around that same field and dropped a long metal pole with a white and red flag attached. I don't know what that was about and wouldn't even care to guess.

Several years ago DH and I were returning home and saw a floating air mattress that was camo colored and at least as big as a football field. It seemed to be moving against the wind so we assumed it had a motor of some kind powering it. It disappeared behind the knobs and we kept on driving but we still talk about how strange that was to see.

Many years ago husband and son stayed in Lexington for the weekend to see a basketball game/conference. It was just me and the dog and I had taken him outside to use the bathroom before going to bed. The dog saw it before I did and the ridge of standing hair on his back told me he had spotted danger. In that same field next to my house was a craft of some type I'd never seen before or since. It was nighttime and I could see that it was at least as tall as my tv tower which is 50 ft. It had a rounded top with a clear view of the inside compartment because it was lit up like an orange pumpkin. I could see dark silhouettes of people but I couldn't make out details or clothing. This craft was hovering about 10 ft above the field without making any sound. I had to verbal command the dog twice to get him to move into the house. I locked the door and didn't look outside anymore that night. I was still awake when my family came home and only then did I get some sleep. I think I was more angry than scared though because I didn't have any ready answers to explain what that was. I still don't have any answers, but I have other sightings that are just as odd and have no easy answers.

I know I'm not crazy and I have to think there are a lot of things going on that we're not told about. I don't think it's right to scare the general public that's paying for the national secret technology by keeping us uninformed and without simple knowledge of what's going on up there. Really, it can't be that difficult to simply explain what these things are that everyone claims as being a UFO. These things aren't unknown. Someones somewhere know what they are.

ok, I can see the folly of complaining about UFOs not being explained, but at least some are offering enough simple knowledge to allow the public to know and identify what's in the sky, as with this new invention from Japan:

Probably a Grumman Ag-Cat. They are a common spray plane and are usually yellow. The pole was probably some kind of reference marker.

Thank you. What I saw looked almost identical. The wings were a bit thicker but the front propeller was exactly what's shown in that bottom photo.

When I was based in Chanute on LifeFlight helicopter we would see the airforce put on some pretty good shows when we flew into Wichita. that whole area west of Chanute to Wichita is a military operations area for the airforce to play. nothing like being buzzed by a couple of f16's when your in a small medical helicopter!

Hubby works (when hes not on call) right next to Dyess AFB & it's pretty common to have to pause our phone conversations due to the bombers flying low overhead We get lots of helicopters out at the house.......My son (8) thinks they are spying on him...lol
