I have found that a old car tire in the grass will make them grunt I do not recommend mowing tires, nearly killed a 90 hp tractor, and slip clutch got exercised, some. Lucky did not break any thing,

50 ft of old barbed wire will throw one off balance pretty bad too

Nothing like sitting under a shade tree, on your back, cutting barb wire (or any kind, really) from underneath a bushhog... in 100+ heat. BTDT too many times...
