Dont know if he still has them now or not. Maybe, its a form of validation. If ya get to where you can afford a caddie, youve made it in the hood. DONT tHINKY that whites dont have their own validation symbols LOL
The only black car collector I know collects Mercedes. Must be all that military service in Germany, where he also got his wife. Wanted them to move next door but not enough garage space.

Wasn't racism, it was intelligentism. And only reporting what I see. Should I say professional or higher educated class instead of intelligent folk? I sit corrected.

I traded a small building lot just the other day for a Cadillac. I like it.

Hi, you would be very welcome in our neighborhood in north central Michigan..we have neighbors that bought a large farm that are a mixed race family, black and white, and they are very much welcomed, their kids are also buying homes in the area.

There are 3 homes with land available on our road..all three are newer homes..they have been up for sale for a long time and they haven't sold cause of the downturn in the economy..but would love to have you and your friends consider it..pm me if you want more info..also check out this site... www.craigslist.com and click on North central Michigan for land and homes for sale

I almost closed this thread, except Ronbre brought the original question back to the forefront. Thanks, Ronbre.

Come to Western NY well have ya & be proud to know ya. Plus we wont expect you to live anyway you dont want to.

Good luck with the search. Hope you live with who and where you like.
But, Id say be careful who you listen to. Good people with good intentions often talk to much and say things as fact that are actually just a thought with no real basis.... Sorry not tryin to be jumpy or over assertive.

"SAFE" sounds very harsh for a nation that elected a "Black" Leader.... Just sayin'

Racism is alive and well in the US. I would think you would have noticed that after President Obama got elected - the racists have come out of the woodwork.

I have heard those claims.... but the OP was asking about safety,,, not necessarily an area totally free of racist attitudes. There is a difference between dealing with a few ignorant knotheads and their foolish remarks, and having to live in fear of physical harm. I doubt there will be anyplace in the US where they will not be confronted with some level of racism, (ignorance will always be with us) but I havent heard of any actual physical violence based on race for a lotta years.

I completely disagree on the poor homesteading part. We are about 5 miles from Lake County, it's nothing but orchards, corn, soy, and grain for miles. We have 25 acres ourselves in hay, 40 across the street in soy, and 80 next door in corn, about 100 behind us in wheat.

Can't seem to keep this thread on topic. If you want to discuss racism, please do it in General Chat.
