Thanks everyone. My blood pressure shoots to a little over average when my nerves act up, i.e. like if I'm rushing to get something done or feeling stressed out over something occurring on the homestead. Doctor put me on a low dosage diuretic.
I am also hypoglycemic bordering diabetis and have been for over 30 yrs with no apparent problems; and I have high cholestrol (when I drink too many Code Red sodas and don't drink enough goat milk).
I've been drinking a gatoraide (G2 with blueberry/pomegranit) that is terribly sweet tasting, but is suppose to be helpful in maintaining an electrolyte balance. Mostly, I've just been drinking a lot of water, taking many breaks when working outdoors, resting a lot and adding salt to our foods, which I don't do in winter months. (Guess I'm doing something right as I don't have weak spells even when I get hot and sweaty from working hard out in the heat.)
