I think they do this assuming at some point in time that the area may become heavily populated. They will not have to change addresses then.

I would ask an ambulance driver where he would go if given the address. That's all that matters anyhow.

Thank God for 911 mapping. I have a hard time finding you if I don't know where Tom's old barn used to be. Please take the time to mark your house and mailbox with your address. One disadvantage of our love of living in the country is that it takes so long to reach you in an emergency. It only takes 4 minutes to be brain dead. If you have a heart attack I need to have you in a Cath lab within 90 minutes. It reduces your risk of dying by up to 50%. While your at it take a COR, first aid, our first responder class. The life you save may be your own.
