Thank you, mnn.
Anyone know where the author for "Billy" may be found?

Tired Old Man, FOTH, scrachline, Paradox, and several of the others are now at Timebomb2000.com You don't have to be a member there to read the stories, go to Members stories. Kathy in Florida's blog is mentioned there and she has on her blog where you can click and get some of the other's stories. Kathy may have already joined TB2K. Most of the writers from Frugal Squirrel's have been permanently banned from there for some reason.

P.S. Kathy in Florida, wab54 and Grand are members now.

Don't know if this is permitted or not, but anyone who is having trouble registering over at tb2k, can pm me here, as I am the admin there who does the registration. Apparently some people's emails have not been getting through to the tb2k server. I'm sorry about that and don't know why it is happening. If it's not okay to say this, then please delete my comment.

We rant about everything at times here, other forums included. I've always been a fan of John/Frugal, but this????? He could of at least gave some warning, let people copy the stories they liked and arrange where the stories would be continued at. I checked out the other sections a couple times a week, but the fiction was what kept me coming back constantly. And you know what, I feel just a little betrayed. This site and Frugals has always been my refuges, the places I went to reassure myself that I wasn't crazy for having the beliefs I do (because of course, my family and friends think I'm nuts for wanting to live simply, be self-sufficient and be prepared). For him to just slam the iron curtain down, is almost like a slap in the face. Please, please, Homesteading Today, don't you go changing!

I wrote Billy. Well, I'm still writing it, actually. It can be found at my website, along with my other works, or links to them. The site is free, and there's no sign up required. Feel free to leave a comment, though

Are there more than six chapters for "Billy" and if so, how do I find them? Thanks.

A couple of other places to find that type of fiction:

http://www.preparedsociety.com/forum/f55/
http://www.survivalmonkey.com/forum/reading-room/

Oh and you can't go wrong ordering from MyPatriotSupply.com - they sponsor the S&P forum here and the customer service is great!

There are, but none of them are posted, as I'm still working on the story. It's a little tough to write in Billys world, so sometimes I wind up losing a lot of work because it's written 'wrong' for Billy.

Sorry it's so slow, but of everything I've written, and that's covering a lot of territory, Billy has to be the most difficult.

But I'm working on it, and there should be more up soon

I appreciate your interest too!
