If yall had time to tinker and liked it do what I did a few years ago. TSC had some small cheap utv's. I wanted one so I found an older Yamaha Golf cart at a scrap yard. THe tube frome was bigger than a friends polaris Ranger utv. we stripped off most of the fiberglass body and fixed a few things. Made a rollcage and the rear end was set up as a transaxle. I made a moun for a car type rear end from another cart. FOr the transmission I had gotten in an old transmission that came from a pick up that an Amish man had on a hay loader. He had mated belts to the in put of the shaft and I put that in my cart with a cheap belt tensioner.

I put a short drive shaft from the transmission to the axle and had a 6.5 HP chinese honda copy in it. It did well. Shifting on the fly wasnt possible but Y left it 2 really low gears and a medium and high. I added atv tires to it to. I used it about a year and ahalf riding the woods and around the ten acres here. THen one evening an old man wanted more than I did and I let it go. I still see it putting around.

THe chicken farmer that borders the landfill we run used to buy a tone of Ford Festivas. Hed cut the back off the cab and make it like a pick up and build a plywood and plexy glass back of cab. Id makehim a square tubing and expanded metal tailgate for them and he would add ATV tires and a simple home made lift kit.. All the weight was on the drive wheels and they would go almost anywhere. He had 5 at anytime on his 170 acres. On had a cage in the back for moving calves, and one had been cut way down with a creep feederon back lol. He hunted and did about everything with them. Now he has an old Geo trakker.

I also would second the mini trucks some that are 2 wd only have a locking axle option like a tractor. Ive seen skinny tires on front and ATV/Agtires on the back. Heater and an allweather cab too.

A cut down S10 chevvy will do well to.

Problem with a jeep or such is you have to licence it and insure it if you go on the road at all.

For the mini truck, I just stuck a slow vehicle sign(universal farm vehicle sign) on the back. Your state may differ.

I'd say it's a grey area. Some of the early jeeps had a PTO and 3 point. I've seen some around here running with a SMV sign on the back.
