Our first home was 780 sq. ft., not as small as these but it was small considering the family we got it from raised 4 boys there. 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. If we were to downsize from where we are now I would not go any smaller than that and it would definitely have to have a big storage/workshop!

For a couple of years, my husband and I lived in a singlewide mobile home that was about 860 sq.ft. with 3 small kids and 4 little dogs. I kinda like my space now after that experience and that was just small, not tiny. The only thing good about a small space like that is that people might spend less time indoors which is healthier. It would be a bit too cozy in these hard winters though.
