I have not seen it yet. My future sil is in the movie. He dies 3 times in it. I think he was in the first one or maybe it was his buddy who was John Wayne's double.

Just one more post to this thread, didn't see it earlier----I was born and raised in West Texas, just east of Lubbock, lived for a few years in Bonham, back to West Texas, then close to Waco for a few years. I haven't lived in Texas in 18 years, but I still have my Texas accent!! Buffy, my grandparents lived in Leonard for quite a few years.

Use to be....and would go back "home" in a half-a-minute. IF I could get my DH to ---but---here we are in Missouri for now.
Lived in Hood County and Ellis County. How I MISS those beautiful Courthouse
Squares !
Would like to ask about a certain spot in Hood County, for those of you who
are down there..so, if you don't mind and have a minute, could email me at
jdkquilts@aol.com

Know the tune "Carry me back to ole' Virginnie" my version is "Carry me back to Quaint Granbury!!!!"

Hey OD! I have a neighbor! I think I need to go find that enchalada at Matt's! Jefferson, huh? That is just a hop and skip from Hughes Springs. I run the road mostly to Mt Pleasant and back. just sorta skip around you there by Winnsboro..

I was wondering about the Alamo, maybe DH and I need a date???

Mamajohnson:
That's Chickflick that lives at Winnsboro. I live in Titus County. I've been thinking about those enchaladas, too. Do you ever eat at the Wildflower Restaurant? My DH was working down there today & I went with him & we had "Wildflower catfish" for lunch. I think he ate 17 pieces!!!

"I come from a line of Parkers and Olivers out of Tenaha, any relations?"

Right off the bat I know that they are/were Beckhams and Burtons in Tenaha...have to check on other branches.

*I* was born in Houston but raised overseas. My dh came here to go to college, but claims that it isnt his fault that his parents moved shortly before he was born to NC so that he couldnt claim native status. He IS very proud of the fact that his children are sixth generation...

AND....(tada!!!!!)

We close on our own 10 acres in tiny Field Store community in Waller county next week!!!!!!! So excited that we are giddy and silly all over the place, here!
