Yay for your 'first cutting of hay'! We're in North Texas and with our historical drought, we're having to ship hay in....... (our state, not us personally). I love tractor photos and large fields - I grew up in ND, a lot of farming and I never appreciated the big farm, I'd love to get a wide angle lens one day and take some farm field photos. Thanks a lot for posting this photo.

Does anyone know the 'legalities' of posting photos on HST? Someone mentioned that they have the rights to use any photos that are posted on their site without permission for whatever they like.

Darn, good pics, and people get paid big bucks for taking pics that may or may not be any better. Love them. Please, someone send an new pic of the day thread! - Homesteading Questions

Haypoint, I love your pictures of the U.P. It's been at least 6 years since I've been up there. My parents used to go camping up there all the time. Last time I was around the area I was vanning with a buddy. We got mega lost in the middle of nowhere and spent the night on a logging road. Someday I'd like to go up and visit again. You might recognize where this picture was taken. It isn't very scenic though:

Phil, in the second pic, is that some type of existing creature in appearence in the rocks in the center top that has a mouth carved in it or is it all natural. I can see some sort of animal (at least to me). Good pics! Like the rocks really well.

I never noticed that! It does look like some sort of creature has been carved into the rocks. It is all natural.
