Farm equipment comes right along with living in a farming area. If you don't want to live with farmers, don't move out to an area where you are surrounded by farms.

Guess that depends on your defintion of "too many" we have a guy that comes thru our little town twice a year with a combine, stopps and fills up here cause we are the midway point on a 200 mile trip!
As for living with farmers Im a farmer I get it. But some guys take great delight in being a pain in the butt cause they "Have the Power" Those are they guys I worry about cause they will ruin it for all of us.

There's also a lot of equipment around here that isn't on tires but rather rubber tracks just like a tank. And they aren't limited to slow speed when I see a truck pulling them at almost normal highway speed. So far it's been mostly big grain wagons but see a definite future when applied to other towed machinery. Guaranteed no flat tires for the life of the machine and can go just about anywhere. Looking to see them adapted to pea viners next.

We run a John Deere on rubber tracks down the roads to problems at all.
