I plan to use hardware cloth for my screens, to dry paper briquettes. For food I plan to get the plastic canvas from the hobby store and just lay it on the hardware cloth.

Ok, so I had to go look up paper brickettes..lol. Add another thing to my to-do list. I am so slowww...did not know you could do that.

And by the way. ..these solar dryers rock..and sre on the list now all so. My hubby is going to be so not impressed.lol..poor guy

I didn't understand the part about the down draft being better.

I was also not sure how there was so much suction on the back of the last one.
