Thankyou. So I could use ordinary sugar or honey I suppose. Although I have no idea what two packages of Splenda equate to. Cross country can be bad enough, cross world is even worse.:happy0035:

Equal to about 2 tsp of sugar. Not enough to make it sweet, just enough to cut the harshness of the lemon.

I don't care to sell the sauce. Just want to have a good name to stick on the top of the recipe for my wife to file it under. Everey sauce seems to have a name (aioli, Pesto, hollandaise, etc). Spicy Lemonaise is about the best so far. Try the sauce on some fish fillets or chicken tenders/breast fillets. Its great. Enjoy. And its quick to make.

Well I'll be dipped - I have used this sauce for years (about 40) and someone has gone and bottled it and is selling it. Funny thing it comes from my wife"s hometown of Ojai, CA. We used to make it in the area and introduced it to our friends when I was stationed in Point Mugu, CA in the early 70's. Ojai is about 30 miles from Point Mugu/Oxnard, CA.
